Has Woody had a funny-transplant? If Tall Dark Stranger were shedloads funnier or darker or stranger mebbe, just mebbe it wouldn't play like an insanely well-acted, brilliantly photographed soap opera manqu�! I get it, Woody, I get the fricken irony already ... But without those laughs you're so good at, the ironically-placed plot predictables just lie there like a dead jellyfish. At least when you see through a jellyfish you get some idea about the mystery of evolution. Bu here? in this film? Uhm ... Not!
