We've all had great reviews that seem to fall through the cracks. For some reason, they just haven't caught on.
So here is the rule. Everyone post a review (that has less than five votes) that you think deserves more.
I'll check back tomorrow and start passing some votes around.
My brilliant review is for the Life of Harvey Milk, a documentary about one of the first-openly gay politicians in the U.S. who was shot and killed while in office. My sick sense of humour doesn't stop me from mocking this tragic true story with this FWFR entry: "Homo Milk expires"

If you like that, then send a vote my way and I'll return the favour on Wednesday.

| Okay, now why did "George Ribs Ruth's Ex" only get two votes here? I mean, really - does no one know what went on Big George's BBQ the day after Ruth's husband went missing?????? |

If it doesn't say it's FWFR-specific, it's not!

Eh, no.
But whilst I'm here, here's my under-appreciated review.
It's a great plot summary, puns the name of the lead actor, contains an oxymoron, an internal rhyme, and, appositely references "Rule Britannia", all in four words, and what has it got? Four measly votes, despite being FYCed.
Oooh, it makes my blood boil....

I could list reviews all day, but I'll just start with these...
Best Boy Best Man
I was pretty pleased with these, especially the latter. I hesitate to spell them out, but here goes anyway. Not spelling them out has not got them very far. The first film is apparently a very engaging ('electric') portrayal of Philly, his parents' 'Best Boy'. By twenty years later, he has become an old man (a 'gaffer'). A Gaffer is the head electrician on a film, assisted by the Best Boy. Thus over time a Best Boy might become a Gaffer. |

Heavens! That's what happens when you not only see the movie, but you read the book as well.
Ruth's husband is killed and Big George ends up putting his... er... remains on the grill. The sherrif who comes to investigate enjoys his meal so much he has not only seconds, but thirds as well! And ends up saying that those were the best damned ribs he'd ever had!
Gross, I know, but for those "in the know" I'm willing to bet I'd get more than a couple of cringes out of that review.

Read and sent votes to all the above.
Keep them coming. I'll check in later and keep voting.
