FOUR YOUR CONSIDERATION - TREASURE HUNT
Sean says:
Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
The only rule is to not use the ones from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it.
Sooner is better than later.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next. |

Rather than be clever, I've decided to just put the first five films on my list with no votes into this round, and hope for the best!
(And just for clarity's sake, "Funerailles" is the name of the major piece of music used in the film.)

Ha! Early for the first time ever...(but on the other hand it's still only Wednesday here so in some sort of metaphysical sense that still probably doesn't make me early) At any rate:
Trying to promote a few zeros that might deserve a better fate in life
LPH (ps, thanks to those who have voted in the other thread - that helped quite a few of my one vote reviews!)

Give mercy votes here.
I might oughta explain "Lucille's head tossing deterred." for Crazy In Alabama. I'll post in inviso text because it is a spoiler. (New members, drag your cursor over it to read more easily.)
Lucille carried her husband's head around in a hat box. She decided it was time to be rid of him so she climbed onto the side of the bridge, so she could *toss his head* into the water below. People thought she was planning to jump, and so they *deterred* her.
Thurs nite: WHAT? Only 1 vote so far for the above. It must be too subtle for you philistines. Trust me, its clever.
And only 1 vote so far for "Cage gets 'daddy tracked'." :::::sigh::::: Perhaps I must explain. Ever hear of "the mommy track" for when a woman's career advancement becomes stalled due to her obligations to her children? In his alternate universe as a father, Cage was no longer on the fast track to success. He was "daddy tracked".
Don't make me regret the very generous voting spree I am about to embark on. |
