I can hop on the site proper easily by just typing www.fwfr.com or www.fwfr.co.uk. It's the "My FWFR" page which absolutely will not load. Times out every time.
EDIT: After some experimentation with bookmarked pages, my "Approved Reviews" page will not load either. These are intended to be hints for benj when he gets back from Scotland.
LATER: Also cannot submit a review.
It's definitely not a server problem; other pages load instantly, like they're supposed to. Either there's a glitch in the code or something's filled up that needs to be emptied.
Here is the error message I get:
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113' Script timed out
/myfwfr.asp
The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

Not every time for me on myFWFR but generally yes, along with sometimes submitting reviews, most annoying!

Similar problem to Randall using brother-in-law's computer in Indiana.
Fourum is fine. |

| Same here. Tried submitting a review and it wouldn't complete the process, then it went to an error page. Fourum hasn't been too bad. |

| Well here in Prague (hotel has a couple of PCs with free internet access - yippee!), the fourum works fine. I haven't tried submitting reviews here (though I've found that painfully slow of late), but I'm experiencing the same slowness when going to My FWFR. |

Way into the small hours the site just wouldn't let me in at all. But when I woke up today, everything's working as normal - ish.
And a review I thought I couldn't submit yesterday, has actually appeared in my pending pile.
Go figure!

Monday morning: as Elton John might say, the glitch is back. Can't get onto MyFWFR again.
EDIT: Or save a review. |

Really slow taking new reviews.
Something needs to be done, now!

| I guess I could check (just preoccupied with going through the fourum posts I missed right now), but do any of you have large numbers of reviews listed on the slow pages (from when you could get them to load, that is)? |

It's been weird today...the site has worked fine, but only in fits and starts. Fourum pages have always loaded instantly...my bookmarked Flagged Films page too. But I just timed out on simply trying to clear recently approved films, and forget about getting My FWFR. I kind of figured you were still in Scotland, sooo...if there's no gremlin lurking around in the code, I'd check with your ISP.
By the way, once the site hangs up when I'm trying to submit a review, the next time I can get in, the last try has been submitted. It's doing some kind of counting routine molasses-like slowly.
I do most of my stuff in the early morning EST, then come back and check on what's happened in the afternoon. I rarely try to log on in the evening EST.
EDIT: Also see my notes at the top of this page. |

Not necessarily ... sometimes I submit from the FWFR film page and even if there's only a couple reviews there it was still taking ages. The strange thing is, it's intermittent ... sometimes zippy, sometimes zilcho.

I've been having real trouble since this afternoon getting into "my fwfr".
I get this message:
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113' Script timed out
/myfwfr.asp
The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.
