Oh my god! A shudder runs through Olympus! Valhalla quakes! Seth is shaken (and stirred). NONCENTZ IS BACK!!

Ecstatic to see you back on the boards noncentz!

All prior compliments quite intended.

wow, you never know how much you are loved until you ask...

glad to see you, as one of the reviewing Gods, finally joining in the discussion. So you going to give Mguyx a bit of a battle again?

Well, I believe I've been reclassified as a disciple now that Mguyx has ascended the throne. He's safe for a while, as work has enslaved me for the summer.

Ah that explains a fair bit. So what you do?

I made a career out of my hobby. I used to be a reporter and film reviewer for my hometown paper, but since then I've become a feature film and television editor - I recently cut a feature starring one of my all-time favorite actors and one short I edited won an Oscar - but I pay the bills as an editor of reality shows like Big Brother, Survivor and The Amazing Race. I don't usually watch that stuff myself but as an editor, all the power of creating story and character is in my hands. Or something like that. Big Brother has me chained for the summer.

I knew I wanted to be in this business since I was 8 and picked up mom's super-8 camera. By the time I was 10 I could recite every Humphrey Bogart movie and the name of the character he played. My best friend ushered at a movie theatre so for 5 years I saw everything that came out. In college I worked at a video store and being poor, watching movies was the only affordable entertainment my college bride and I had (well, sitting up, that is). About 5 years ago I picked up a copy of Leonard Maltin's movie book and tried to estimate how many movies I've seen. Back then it was well over 5000 that I could recall.

Still, real life is more important to me than anything. I spend more time doing that than anything else. Life offers greater surprises. laughs and cliffhangers than film will ever be capable of, and for me, being a student of life helps make me a better filmmaker.

How's that for a bunch of noncentz?

You probably did but I never hold a grudge.

He's lying. We are one and the same. You remember the final scene from Psycho? It's kinda like that relationship.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. No, you are safe. Life and some major projects I'm attempting (finishing a novel, selling a movie about my late wife's battle with cancer at 26, running a marathon in the spring, playing with my dogs, eating breakfast) have taken precedence for a while.

So for a while it will be quality and not quantity. Of course, the demons may one day take hold again and we'll be off and running.

Thanks for the luv and I'm really glad so many of you seem to like my reviews. Nothing like entertaining the masses.

See? If you limit me to only four words, I'm much more mysterious.

Nonetheless, quite impressive accomplishments! It just goes to show that quality experience leads to quality reviews (ahhhh, life's greater purpose revealed: I live therefore I review.) Many many kudos to you my friend!
