tarock

I believe the commonly accepted definition of this word has to do with a game that uses something like tarot cards.

However, a more obscure meaning means to suffer a tear in one's apparel. This meaning dates back to when kilted Scots accidentally ripped their tartans on Highland rocks.

coroniskatsu

These were a bunch of Japanese anarchists, determined to disrupt the coronation of Edward VIII in London in (I belive) 1936. They were remanded in custody when their plot was discovered. Disillusioned, they set sail for Japan, and were further disillusioned halfway home to discover that the king had abdicated and it was too late to disrupt the next ceremony.

Preptomain - Drug that the ancient greeks started to use 2 years before the vanishing of the Greek empire. Although modern greeks still deny this, the drug is probably the cause of this fall. The state of mind you get in when you sniff preptomain from a sheeps' blatter makes you exceptionally easy to kill, which itself is the cause of the term 'sitting greek'.

Predic

The normally underdeveloped genitalia of the male of the species Homo habilis. It wasnt until the eventual evolution of Homo habilis into Homo Erectus that the males sexual organs truly came into their own. Contrary to common belief the term Homo Erectus was not based upon the species ability to stand on two legs.
