Confession: I have only reviewed this film based on the title and the briefest descriptions.

I'd only read the IMDB description from the Edison Catalog. A history of the elephant is also provided by another reviewer.

I did not know that Edison wasn't demonstrating his DC electricity here, but propagandizing against A/C. Check out the Tesla doc starting at 18:00.
