Nope.

One further hint: he was one of 4 Oscar nominated actors or actresses in one of the films, the second film had 3 acting nominees, & the third had only one.

It's nice to be a winner on Canada Day!

The multi-faceted John C. Reilly who, I think, is at his best when not carrying the picture.

The 75th Oscars: He was in Gangs of New York, The Hours and the winner--Chicago. I have never really got over that one as winner.

A new challenge coming up, but first the fireworks.

Each year since 1936, Academy Awards have been given in the 4 acting categories, as well as for Best Director and Best Picture. Usually, a given film will win multiple awards in these categories. More rarely, these six categories yielded six winners. To date, there have been only three years where this is true, the last being for 2005 when Crash won Best Picture. What other two years did that happen and what films won Best Picture those years?

Sorry everyone. Was away for a few days.

Still in Oscarland:

Who was the first person to win three Oscars for the same picture?

Who was the second?

EDIT: This has been dormant for over a month. If the quality of my questions is a fault I apologise. Regardless, I urge someone else to jump in with a new brain-burner. I believe the correct answers to my questions are Billy Wilder and Marvin Hamlisch.
