BTW... you could've included my name and info in the list of contributors!

Did you respond to the email sent to contributors asking for information and a four-word statement? I think those who didn't respond (or who wanted anonymity) had only their username used.

I got an email from Yukon a month or so ago regarding my info...

I guess I must have responded past the deadline.

No worries, I'm still excited to see the book in its entirety...

BRAVO!!!

EXCELLENT WORK!!!

My copy is in the mail (accdg to Amazon), but the advance pages sent a happy chill up my spine. I'm so proud of you benj and so appreciative of your additional Herculean efforts Yukon in both of you getting this this accomplished. And I'm proud of all 10,000 fwiffers who have made this place what it is: the best.

Okay, so after republishing my review of this site onto Associated Content by Yahoo! I decided to do two more articles there to promote the book. The first one, my interview with Benj & Yukon can be found here!

I've twittered it and put the link up on Facebook, as well.

I've also submitted to them a sneak preview of the book itself. When it gets published, I'll give you the link here as well.

(NY Times Best Seller's List, here we come!)

Thanks Davida.

And thanks to everyone -- I see lots of people are talking about the book with their friends on Facebook and Twitter.

I had my first random stanger send me an e-mail to say they are a movie fan and they saw the book on Amazon and ordered it because they love the concept and the reviews on the cover made her laugh.

Hooray -- that's atleast one sale to somebody who isn't a friend or relative of a fwiffer!

I got my book today!

WOW: it happened! I was just a big silly grin when I opened the box. I'm so proud of you, benj and Yukon.

Here's a funny bit: I opened it to a random page and saw the reviews for "Animal House" and there was my review "Frat's Entertainment!" benj originally rejected that review about 4 times (back in the days before God created MERPs, as dinosaur fossils are only the devil's way of tricking people into believing that evolution hooey -- all clearly documented in the book of PopeGeorgeRingo 14:12, but I digress). Thanks benj!

I may have made this suggestion before, but just in case... many public library systems now have online forms to request books for them to order for their collections.

I flipped through the Amazon preview and it's wild to see several of mine, and a few I hadn't voted on, and some great ones to be reminded of that I had voted on. I'm kind of in shock actually. Just ordered there. Delivery estimate: July 26, 2010 - July 27, 2010
