Ever wonder what you'd get if you removed the L from Samuel L. Jackson? You'd get this guy, Samuel Jackson [1849-1930] who played 2nd base for the 1871 Boston Red Stockings and the 1872 Brooklyn Atlantics teams of the NAPBBP [National Association of Professional Base Ball Players].
