If it doesn't say it's FWFR-specific, it's not!

I imagine that some films about the Iraq War will at least show some female soldiers but I don't know how prominently.
Do you count spies? I'm sure there must be films about Mata Hari, and there's also Female Agents.
What about auxiliary services such as nursing? There must also be films about Florence Nightingale in the Crimean War.
A woman disguised as a male soldier appears in a couple of series of Blackadder, so you could check whether that applies to any of the specials listed here. |

Also some other films set in the historic Far East. I'm not sure which now, but check out for example The Curse of the Golden Flower and The Warlords.
Any film about Joan of Arc.
If you include films about undercover operatives, then Salt.
And The X-Files if you include whatever they are supposed to be part of.
Are there any films with a female Commander-in-Chief, i.e. President?
Any film about Boudica/Boadicea.
Any film about the Amazons. |

What about "The Contender" it isn't about a female POTUS but about a female being considered for VP. Would that work?

What is that film with Tony Curtis and Cary Grant, where they are Navy sailors or Marines? on a ship and they pick up a bunch of Army nurses from an island?
Also, 'MASH'. |
