Margherita Buy plays a mystery guest who stays in top hotels.

Spoiler for Omar (not really in the review): he is a not-very-successful terrorist who becomes a not-very-good informant.

As other reviewers here and elsewhere have pointed out, Earth to Echo has an obvious inheritance from a seminal troubled-kids-help-a-stranded-alien-go-home film. (Nevertheless/Therefore, I did find it touching and parents shouldn't hesitate to take their children to see it.)

The order Testudines is tortoises &c.

Lemmy in for #1056.

All the clues that’s fit to print.

Angels Over Broadway—exposed embezzler Charles Engle (John Qualen) contemplates suicide.

Dolphin Boy—exposure to dolphins helps a severely depressed young man.

Anna has many similarities to All About Eve. Fasten your seatbelts!

Robert Wagner’s Chet Bixby bears some resemblance to troubled trumpeter Chad Baker.

Belle Toujours—Almost 40 years after the original, director Manoel de Oliveira reunites the protagonists of Luis Bunuel’s Belle de Jour.

Some cross-referencing

Some more referencing:

Beast of the City stars Jean Harlow as Daisy, and Wallace Ford as not a very nice person.

In the dolphin sequel, the drama comes from some nefarious plans afoot - or should that be a'tail! Because prosthetically-fluked dolphins like Winter need company, not to be left out alone in the cold. I'm crying already.

Falling presents a unique structure using 10 self-contained filmlets woven into a story involving failure.

Love Crazy features a certain Mr Ireland and how he wins back the wife he dumped.

REDD's actor names and acronyms just ache to be punned. The control-freak GRIMM corporation, Kinden Blood who fights on their side, and April Crum as Redd. Gotta be a fwfr gift - shame about the film!
