NB:
Jack Lemmon discovers a cover up regarding an accident at the nuclear power plant where he is a supervisor in "The China Syndrome".
In "The Man Who Fell To Earth" an alien named Thomas Newton is sent to Earth to help his dying planet but is soon distracted from his mission by money, alcohol and sex.
A disc jockey starts an ill advised affair with an obsessive fan in "Play Misty for Me".
A retired judge in Manhattan believes he is Sherlock Holmes in "They Might Be Giants".
In "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot" Jeff Bridges has to dress up as a woman as part of a bank robbing scheme.
