Lemmy in for #1150

All about bullies.

From Hand to Mouth—Harold Lloyd foils a crooked lawyer who is trying to prevent a sweet young thing from getting her inheritance.

From Caligari to Hitler—German Film in the Age of the Masses looks at the films of the Weimar republic and uses as its focus Siegfried Kracauer’s study published in the late 40s.

Der Junge Törless (Young Törless) takes place in a boarding school in the early 20th century and echoes the rise of Nazism.

Harlan County, U.S.A.—the Kentucky coal miners go on strike because Duke Power, the mine owners, will not ratify their UMWA contract.

Anthony Head narrated the theatre production. (It was touching to be the audience of a small cinema that Mel Giedroyc twice referred to in the peripheral ramblings.)

Spoiler for 10 Cloverfield Lane.

Mark Strong plays some kind of secret agent.

Snow White doesn't herself really appear, but...
