Its too bad she seems to be going down the frivalous child star route. When I saw Linsey Lohan in Freaky Friday and Mean Girls, I thought she had the kind of brains, intelligence, and acting skills to avoid the tabloid life and get some "respected" roles. My hopes for her were strengthened when she got a role in Robert Altman's last movie. I thought that if she stayed on that path, she would get an Academy Award nomination by the time she was 20.
I never thought Hermione was a talent that could rise above her character in Harry Potter any more than Mark Hamil rose above Luke. However, I'm still disappointed about the way she's presented or presenting herself in the article in TitanPa's post. |
