It's infuriating and humbling at the same time to learn that a serious but controllable and tratable ailment such as pneumonia has felled a fellow man, and one of my favorites. Bernie Mac was a natural comic. Not a clown, but a comic. In a style class with the likes of George Carlin, Robin Harris, Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor and Redd Foxx, Bernie's stand up delivered a vision of life in a tell-it-like-it-is way. Bernie Mac was real-funny. In that vein, another part of real comedy has died. Rest in peace Bernie.
