Posted - 12/13/2007 : 02:38:02 Inspired by duh's comment about the horrible ice storm in the midwest, the next avatar contest will be ICE. Such an open topic, it should inspire you to find a veritable plethora of wonderful images. |

Posted - 12/20/2007 : 01:50:15 How nice that a deer has finally gotten me something other than a dented hood.
Actually, Bambi and I go way back together. Some of you may recall, he won me a Movie Haiku Contest once.
BRB with a new theme. |

Posted - 12/19/2007 : 21:25:15 I never thaw such a solid (water) tray of entries! Now a look at who melted the voters hearts the most...

In third place, with 4 points each (3,1) (2,2,2,1,-3)...

With a creature who, with the disappearing ice in the North, may be on the (b)rink of extinction...
And...
Speaking of polar bears, do you know what drink best suits men who have been swimming in ice cold water?
High balls...

Chris C and damalc !!

In second place, with 6 points (3,3)...

A man who is devoted to penguins with both rime and reason...

Sen !!

And in first place, with 16 points (3,3,3,3,2,2)...

Bambi on ice? That's some Disney arti(c)stry...

duh !!!
You're a below zero hero, duh! All hail the crystal clear winn(t)er! Couldnt have happened to a n-icer person! With all those 3s, I'd say you got cubed! Way to in-glaciate yourself with the voters!
Wow, it's really floe-ing out of me today!
If you are done chilling, you are now free(ze) to choose a new topic.

Posted - 12/16/2007 : 22:27:52 Sorry I'm late. I had a martini-glass shaped ice cube, but damalc has already covered that entry, so I'm going with another icy treat:
The Icee! |

Posted - 12/14/2007 : 09:43:30 I looked long and hard for something funny or sexy but ended up settling for a nice, pretty picture. How boring am I?
Edit: oh sod it. You may need to look hard to spot the 'ice'.
Try here. Look hard. |

Posted - 12/13/2007 : 23:41:20 Ice sculpture contests produce the most amazing things. I was rather fond of this 6 foot wide crab, from an Alaskan ice sculpting competition. I guess that makes this an Alaskan snow crab? |

Posted - 12/13/2007 : 21:01:58 American Gladiators is making a come back to NBC. But one can't help to remember the Gladitors from the past. Way back in the 90's. They all had such great names and sometimes funny names. One of my favorites was 'Ice'. She mad e the catch phrase "Ice Ice Baby" popular....(well after someone else made it popular) |
