Do an 'old-timers' have any old or archived threads they would like to post links to for the newbies to read?

Well, this looks as though it was not the first mention of them, but it probably contains a lot of information.

As far as I know, these threads can only be found by searching via Google, so without being reminded of certain incidents and thus key words, I cannot think of anything.

It would be good to re-read the original thread suggesting the MERPs, but since they weren't called MERPs then, it is difficult to find.

Yeah just search for anything posted by Salopian. (I feel comfortable yanking Salopian's chain like this, which speaks well of him. But I'm a-duckin' and a-runnin', just to be on the safe side.)
Tell ya what, instead, search for "dross." ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, search for "warm fuzzies."

I found Jargling (the word game) after someone mentioned it - and then there was the 'Paul Bennison Incident'. People often post links to discussions from the past when a new thread is going over old ground. Anything really - just something that generated some good back and forth from people.
