Thanks, Shiv. Well, you've got till the end of the day, so here's a clue:
Director: Piers Haggard, 23 October 1973
Part of the Armchair Theatre season
Author: same as writer of the series mentioned above

and, no, apparently imdb has failed to list this one

Your clue was too good - I got the title of the episode 'Verite'. But I spent ages trying to find information about the storyline, cast etc. No luck...

Well, I'm reporting back to say I failed on the one-off TV play question with Tim Curry. I thought it was Tales of the Unexpected for a while, but Tim Curry doesn't seem to have been in that.

The answer to the other two bits was already posted by Salopian
Blue Money
Rock Follies of '77: The Band Who Wouldn't Die

So....TEEEEELLL MEEEEEE

Happy Anniversary

Yeah, if you can't find enough of my reviews to justify the 40 votes, please give the remainder to Alan Smithee instead.

Thanks!

Thanks, but again, please only look at my reviews that you haven't seen before, and it is no problem if you do not want to vote on any of them.

I never vote on reviews that don't tickle at least a bit of my fancy, and I don't have a very sensitive fancy.

(Just a warped sense of humour!)

1. Ewan McGregor's uncle - Denis Lawson
2. The author of Prime Suspect [using her acting name] - Lynda Marshal (Lynda La Plante)
3. The mother of Emma Thompson - Phyllida Law
BaftaBaby Posted - 03/14/2007 : 14:36:53
Okay ... here's a chance for another l'il bonus:

5 votes for anyone who can name the tv play I starred in, playing the eponymous role - and another 5 votes for naming the following who were in my supporting cast:
1. Ewan McGregor's uncle
2. The author of Prime Suspect [using her acting name]
3. The mother of Emma Thompson

ALL Votes awarded by 29 March or whenever all questions are answered, whichever comes first.

I think so, but I'm still waiting to see if anyone else posts it

Consider that "lurve" liberally spread on Sal's lowest page (of those I hadn't already voted for, that is)!

I am more than happy with those votes (i.e. focused on my newest reviews), so B.B. does not need to look as well (although she may have already done so as I think some of them have gained two votes). You had both already visited my pages more than generously, so I wouldn't want you to try to vote on ones that hadn't tickled your fancy when you saw them then.

By the way, B.B., you've had an amazing and glamorous life - and you're even an author too!

It's nice on FWFR when everyone spreads the lurve

Excellent idea. Consider that "lurve" liberally spread on Sal's lowest page (of those I hadn't already voted for, that is)!
