It seems that George Kaplan has left us, to be replaced with his alter-ego, Roger Thornhill.
However, all George's old reviews appear to have been deleted, many hundreds of them.
Can we have an explanation please?

No, Mr Stupid tipped him over and he has crept up about fifty since then. |

Posted - 04/16/2007 : 22:12:51 At the least we can say Roger Thornhill is the new George Kaplan, seeing as Kaplan's old fourum posts are now authored by Thornhill.
Also, check Thornhill's "Myself in Four Words:" 'scuse me while I disappear. |

Unless it's self-immolation, I would like to hear this one too. Kappy is a very fine fwiffer [and tasteful "old-school" accolade creator], and even if he wants to go to ground, I don't want those reviews to follow him.
I just checked one accolade of his and it's gone--I am sure he had one for Fred Astaire.
I hope we haven't lost him, He was a good reviewer and a knowledgeable film fan.
You're right. All gone. The Universal monsters he decorated with postage stamps, the Hitchcocks...
Wha' happened? Did he get mad [how?], or is it, I pray, some weird glitch? And is Thornhill his new incarnation?
Games, Mr. Kaplan. Must we? |
