Apparently, it's Joe Blevins Day in some corners of the world:

If not, would that be considered poetic license or irony?

Did it? Will it? Don't you believe in eternity and/or infinity, then? Because if you can say something 'began' then you'd always be able to ask what came before the beginning. And, if the answer is nothing, well, nothing is something. If you see what I mean. So -- yeah, an infinite number of days ... but there's nothing to stop you grabbing some more of 'em for your own

Well, the Mayan calendar ends on December 21st, 2012 at 11:11 am GMT, so unless they just got tired of counting and just stopped with that date, they might have been predicting the end of the world.

(If my daughter gets to celebrate her birthday on December 22nd, 2012 then we'll know they were wrong.)

So you get Friday the 13th as your Lucky Day? Nice!

But, wait, would it actually be an infinite number? I suppose the universe had to have had a definite beginning and will, some day, come to a definite end. So this 24-hour period known as Joe Blevins Day (not an annual event, I remind you, but a one-time observation) occurs during a finite amount of time. But in any event, it's more than 364.

Actually, I think only October 13, 2006 is designated as my day so there have actually been -- and will be -- an infinite number of Un-Joe Blevins Days.

It's amazing to think there are 364 Un-Joe Blevins Days every year.

365 in a leap.
