Posted - 01/30/2007 : 19:14:02 So, who's gonna win it this year? I shall be staying up late and catching as much as possible on Sunday night before taking Monday off work and watching the remainder on tape.
I think it's going to be an exciting close-fought game, and I think the Bears will win by 7 or less points.
Make your predictions here, and a bunch of votes to the three closest. |

I had the chance to see Letterman interviewing Peyton Manning tonight on the Late Show. One thing about Dave - when he respects and admires the person he's interviewing, he's a terrific intverviewer. He didn't make jokes, he discussed the game, the play-offs, what the team has done for Indianapolis and the quality of man that he believes Tony Dungy to be. It's always nice to see Dave conduct an interview like that one. |

Posted - 02/06/2007 : 00:58:14 I don't think he'll have him there tonight. The plane didn't land in Indy with the team (& Peyton) until around 4:30 pm and took 2 hours for them to get there, through the parade, and into the RCA Dome for the celebration. Peyton spoke at that, and said he was leaving in the morning for Hawaii and the Pro Bowl. |

He can't be any more delirious than the 50000 fans packed into the RCA Dome and in the streets around it while the Colts team rides in their homecoming parade around Monument Circle and into the stadium. It's the only news we have tonight. :)
Yes he will be, because your 50,000 will pale before his national audience, and there is no bigger Colts fan than Dave. I wouldn't be surprised to see Peyton sitting on the couch tonight [actually, tomorrow for me], if they can [have been able to] possibly fly [flew] him up to NYC today. We'll find out tomorrow, because I'm not in the audience today and I don't stay up that late... |

Posted - 02/05/2007 : 15:49:29 Congratulations to all Colts fans. That includes this household since Mrs. lemmy's parents and two brothers live in Indy (well, one brother in Indy proper and the others in Fishers, a burb).
Wet wasn't it? |

4 go for the Colts, 3 for the Bears.
Big congrats to the Colts and their fans. I stayed awake until about 2am UK time (end of third quarter), at which point the Bears were still in with a shout. I watched the rest of it with Mrs C this morning.
Votewinners are Shoon (showing off by nearly guessing the correct score), Foxboy, and Turrell. I've 'll touched down on your pages soon and added a few extra points. |

Posted - 02/05/2007 : 13:14:46 Thanks for all the good wishes :) We're going to try and get to the parade and celebration later today and this evening. It's a fine day to be a Hoosier. Peyton Manning did win the MVP and shook the curse of not winning a championship, but more importantly, Tony Dungy made history last night. He's the first black coach to win a Superbowl and he did so with class. He is very deserving of the honor. |

Once again congrats
