Posted - 02/24/2007 : 17:34:28 Hey you guys. Somehow and I dont even know how, I am in this month's Empire magazine. Obviously not as a star or a reviewer, but just a letter. I know, it is pretty sad to boast about it, but it is pretty cool, especially since I have read Empire magazine for five years now.
That is it

Posted - 02/25/2007 : 09:30:46 ok, when you say this month's, is this the April edition that comes out on March 1st, the March edition that came out this month, or the February edition that came out in January. (The whole - putting edition dates in advance so it looks like they're getting some kind of scoop, is one of my personal bugbears with Empire)
And I've not forgiven them for the fact they've never published one of my letters or Spinal quote answers
Nice one Mampers |

Well it is a rubbishy letter, just saying how Matt Damon looks like the German midfielder Micheal Ballack. It is not the greatest of letters, but to be printed on my favorite magazine, that is pretty cool with me

Posted - 02/24/2007 : 23:46:47 That's really cool mampers. In my younger days, I went through a period of reading "true detective" magazines. I don't even know if they print those anymore, but I responded to a letter someone wrote and I know the thrill. Also had a friend who actually had his letter published in Dear Penthouse. We won't go there, it made me a little dubious about spending too much time with him!! |

Posted - 02/24/2007 : 21:46:30 Good for you man, I know that feels great. I read american comic books in my teens and early 20s, and although I still enjoy graphic novels I don't read any regular titles anymore - but back in the day I managed to get a letter printed in a Batman comic. Not bad for a kid from Bristol. |

I've looked all over the website and I don't believe they repro the letters ... or maybe only if you register, dunno. But, hey, Mamp, at least let us know what the letter was about, yeah?
