There is a new Tv show showing in the states. I think it premieres sometime this week. Has anyone heard of it or seen it? Its called 'The Riches.' It stars Eddie Izzard (Sore subject, sorry Benj) and Minnie Driver. Thats an odd pairing isnt it? I didn't know Eddie did serious parts. Is someone trying to anger Benj?? The one person he loves and the other person he hates. Is this a show worth watching????? And is this a dilemma for Benj?

Actually, I don't have anything against Eddie Izzard- I think he's a fantastic comedian. But... the idiots who voted in the Webby's because of his act rather than based on his site however...
In fact the only thing I have against him is that he's rubbing shoulders (and gawd knows what else) with the lovely Minnie in this programme. Jammy get!  |

It's wierd seeing Izzard without makeup and a dress.
Anyway, fear not as it's not a "serious" role, or at least, not TOO serious. They're con artists pretending to be a family they're not so they can live in their house. The real person Izzard is pretending to be is dead but nobody else but "The Riches" know that. This has got "dramedy" written all over it. |
