i wish this was not true, but i couldn't make this up:

Erie mom to be sentenced for using baby as weapon in assault

ERIE, Pa. (AP) - An Erie woman will be in court this morning to learn her sentence for using her four-week-old son as a weapon to bash her boyfriend.
The child fractured his skull in the attack and 27-year-old Chytoria Graham in March pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
In pleading guilty, the mother admitted grabbing her son Jarrod by his feet, swinging him like a bat and hitting her boyfriend in the head.
An Erie County judge ordered Graham to get a psychological exam before he sentences her today.

Jesus Christ, what would have to go through your mind to even begin to come up with such an idea.

I'd love to be her pyscho analyst and use her as my note pad.

I tried unsuccessfully not to laugh at that

definitely an unfunny situation, but can you see her doing Butch from "Pulp Fiction?"
"bat? no. chainsaw? too noisy. ... junior!"

That woman should be shot.
The baby should also be removed from her permanently. She's clearly incapable of being a mother. What sort of monster will the kid be 20 years from now (if he survives) if she's allowed to keep him?

"Permanently" is a really long time. Maybe "indefinitely" is a better term?

I'd guess she realised that the ankles make good handles. That's probably the way she looked at it, which suggests she'd have to be a psychopath.

Regardless of what she is, she should be shot!

Her lawyer will ask for a lenient sentence on the grounds that she is the mother of a young child.
