I downloaded Firefox to help with the logging into fwfr problem.

I notice there is a decrease in the quality of the text on the webpages, and that the download is slower. Is this normal - or does this indicate another problem with my PC? Perhaps there are other add-on components I should download?

Yes Shiv, there are lots of Firefox add-ons but you particularly need "IE Tab".

This enables you to select the IE engine for individual pages. FWFR format looks better with IE as Benj wrote it for that. Theres also some very occasional button issues with Firefox and FWFR too.

You download IE Tabs from add-on and once you have installed it you will see on the bottom right of the page a small Firefox logo. If you middle click on that it will change to the IE logo, and you will be in IE mode, but only for that tab.

There are several other good add-ons for Firefox - esp Adblock Plus - but none particularly needed for FWFR.

If you need any further advice just pm me.
