He goes in for more testing on his birthday :( and then the first week in September he has his regular appointments with two of his specialists. Last visit one of his urologists said she wanted to move his appendix and use it to run a shunt from his bladder out through a hole in his side so we could drain his bladder for him. Thankfully she said she would wait on making that decision. We want good reports from her and his kidney transplant specialist. The testing on his birthday is uncomfortable, embarrassing and painful. Please be thinking of him and I'll let you guys know what the doctors say.

On a bright note (for him, a saddish one for me) he starts kindergarten on Monday. :)

Don't worry Beanie, another few years and it should start to wear off.

Thanks everyone. It's been moved to Friday, which is really nice. :)

Thank you for all the birthday wishes (Especially Beth's, how sweet!)

Ah, that ain't fair. It's not fair for anyone, let alone a kid.

I'll send positive thoughts into the aether anyway. Hope it helps.
