Interesting. Of course, it would be on in the middle of the night over there. |

Posted - 10/29/2007 : 23:40:30 There were over a million people wanting tickets which would appear to justify the NFL "gambling" on playing outside the US. |

Posted - 10/17/2007 : 20:04:45 Did you know that the day after the Super Bowl is the #1 sick day in America every single year? |

Posted - 10/17/2007 : 19:32:24 Yeah, and Superbowl Sunday is awesome anyway, as it leaves me loads of hours to get drunk beforehand, s usually my favourite team aren't in it and I can just heckle. Not sure I want it in England tbh. |

Hmmmm, how about an 8pm kickoff here. It means you lot would get a lunchtime Superbowl.
I tried to apply for the Dolphins-Giants game, but got pushed out by sheer numbers.
Not in a million years would that happen. The networks didn't pay all the money for the game and the sponsors didn't pay over $1,000,000 for 30 second spots just to have it shown in the middle of the day. It's gotta be prime time.
This would be the first outdoor Super Bowl in a climate that actually gets cold in the winter. |
