... since, if you can remember your mom from when you were a kid, you might find this pretty funny as well.

ChocolateLady, I was looking on my Cooking Light recipe site for a Chocolate Pudding recipe. I always read the user reviews to see how well everyone likes the recipe. I think if you read sharon5414's post, then up 4 posts (no name), then 2 posts above that (from Alameda, CA ([email protected])), you'll get a big laugh. Looks as if there are no sites that are immune to snarky posters. Although, sharon5414 was being a tad superior.

Yes, just a tad, but only because there's no accounting for taste. EAB is right, and you can get anything anywhere in the USA - if not in your local shops then on-line. I personally agree with Sharon, though, since Hershey's chips are horribly waxy, and while they are okay in a chocolate chip cookie (as they tend to keep their shape), I would NEVER use them in any recipe where you melt the chocolate. Aside from the waxy taste, why pay the price Hershey's charges for them when you can buy far better quality chocolate in bars for less? But if you want a really good tasting chocolate chip, and don't care about them melting a touch (and who would care, really, when the taste is better) then there are lots of companies that make good ones - Ghiradelli for instance, and these two California snarky posters can both get that, since the manufacturer is in San Francisco!

(And no one gets more snarky than people arguing about chocolate!)

Very funny, but it would have to be in Sicilian to be true for my mum.
