Would you like a little salt for those words?
Hey, be nice. Now that the elections are over, I think Republicans can make up with Democrats. Being one of the latter, I would like to reach out to all my Republican friends and promise to hug their elephant if they'll reciprocate and kiss my ass!
Oh, but I AM being nice. I thought as long as he had to eat those words, he may as well have a bit of flavoring to make the meal more palatable. |

Posted - 09/18/2008 : 06:54:12 I read an interview with Chevy Chase where he commented about the skit and said that he hopes in future turns as Palin, that Fey will really stick it to Palin.
That explains a lot why Chase has lost his comedy chops. For the characterization to be funny, there has to be truth in it. It won't work if the actor's preoccupation is simply to buffoon the character.
Consider for example, Dana Carvey as Bush Sr, and as Barbara Bush. He was very funny, but played his characters "straight" and that is why they worked so well. |

Thank you SO much for this - it takes me months to get SNL here! |

Posted - 09/15/2008 : 05:47:30 It warms my heart to see how much Tina Fey has improved as an actress in just a few short years. |

And Saturday Night Live must have been reading this post!

At the debates: Fey as Palin: I had as much experience in the news as Jane Pauley did when she moved to network news. I will be prepared to deal with the people from the anchor desk, if that unfortunate event would ever occur.
Someone as Biden: Governor, I served with Jane Pauley: I knew Jane Pauley; Jane Pauley was a friend of mine. Governor, you're no Jane Pauley.
And Saturday Night Live must have been reading this post! I had to double check to make sure it wasn't Palin. If they keep up the cutting edge quality of the opening sketch the rest of the year, there may be some mileage left in SNL.
P.S. Michael Phelps did fine as a host - much better than some sports stars that have hosted.

ABC News looks into the Levi Johnston phenomenon
And includes the odd-phrased information:
Teen fathers are often unequipped to deal with the responsibility thrust upon them, according to most social workers and therapists.
The same could be said of teenage mothers too...

Do we have a release date yet for "1 Night In Bristol?"
And any truth to the rumour that it's being subtitled: "From VP to VD"?
