My lovely vibrant 2nd cousin Tanya - who was my age - was being driven by her sister to vote. An SUV ran a red light, pushing the car into a telegraph pole, killing Tanya and leaving Lois with severe internal bruising. Flame-haired Tanya was a natural comedienne with her sassy Noo Yawk accent undulled by decades in Miami. They were both carers for my 95 year-old great-uncle.
Puts it all in perspective. |

What a horrible shock. I hope that you are coping as well as possible, and especially Lois too. If it's the sort of thing that would give either of you some peace of mind, then I hope they prosecute the driver successfully. Hopefully Tanya was going to vote for Obama and thus was feeling excited and full of hope in her final minutes. |
