Let's hope she's okay, and has a full and swift recovery.

You have to be nuts to try anything with Liam's kids.
quote:
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

I really like Nell too.

Thanks for the info about the condition in both threads, RG. How unsettling -- it makes me a bit paranoid about getting any knock that seems minor.

As I said in the other thread, it's just tragic for her sons. I don't think losing a parent early is as scarring as losing a child, but it's still going to permanently shape their lives and characters. Also terrible for Liam Neeson, who seems like such a nice guy. On a minor front, I suppose we'll be seeing much less of him now, since he won't want to leave the boys being looked after by other people.

I actually did say a prayer. I'm sad to have read this just now. I've adored her since I first remember seeing her in Nell. I don't have an RIP FWFR obit for her, don't want to write one. I'm so sorry for Liam and her family.

i just finished reading John Grisham's The Appeal, which I DON'T recommend, but it had a chapter where there was discussion of a similar medical situation. Apparently if treated early, it's completely curable, but if left for a few hours it can be fatal. My heart is out to the Neeson & Redgrave families. Especially with all the ghouls reporting the most private and discouraging of news.
