Posted - 08/21/2009 : 05:31:35 Hi all, the company I work for is fitting out a new perfume store. They have asked us to come up with a name for the store, I thought I would put it to you wordsmiths.
The last time we named a store, it was a Lingere shop, one of the guys here named it "Yes, Yes, Yes"
I look forward to seeing any ideas from you all. I will reward any good ideas with votes.
Thank Sean for the edit. |

The client has chosen "You Scent Me" as the new name.
FYI, if you do a google search on "You Scent Me" you'll see that name is already taken.
All the names that my company submitted were checked on google. The client picked the name themselves.
Is that your website TheScentLady?
Hm... apparently some people have better google skills than others. http://youscentme.com/about_us.htm
However, because your client is in Australia (I presume) and that shop is in New York, USA, maybe its okay to have the same name. Is it?
unless it's an international registered name, I think it's ok. I'm sure they will be told when they try to register the name.

Scent You All.
(Said quickly, it sounds like "sensual"!)

Intense incense. Scent and sensibility. For a few scents more... |

V+V on all that posted in this thread. I'll let you know what the store is named.
You mean, even I get votes for my snide suggestions? You are indeed a gentleman and a scholar. (BTW, I should reveal that strong perfumes trigger migraine headaches in my wife so, really, I know very little about the stuff.) Good luck with your suggestions for the new store name. |
