Hey, all.

I hope you won't mind me plugging a few of my various web-related projects. I've mentioned previously that I'm a regular on the Mail Order Zombie podcast as a character called Wayne Kotke, president, spokesman, and founder of Dead 2 Rights, an organization fighting for the rights of the living impaired. Well, now, they've set up a Dead 2 Rights blog for me, and I've been posting some writing there.

I'd also like to put in a quick word for Unloosen, a website where I've been doing some (hopefully) satirical reviews. If any of you could check those out and leave comments, it would really be appreciated.

Hello once again, FWFRers.

I have yet another new project going at Unloosen. In the past, I was reviewing the horror anthology series Fear Itself with another author. That was fun to write, but since the show was so low-rated and obscure (and, frankly, bad) the response to our review project was bound to be muted. We did manage to review each and every last episode, though

But enough of that! On to new projects. My co-author (Craig J. Clark) and I have just launched a bi-weekly series of reviews in which we re-examine films from the 1980s. The first entry, devoted to Killer Klowns From Outer Space, is available to read now. The next article will be posted next Thursday and will examine Joe Dante's Explorers. And two weeks after that, we'll be doing The Elephant Man.

Craig and I would both really appreciate it if any of you would journey over to Unloosen and read our reviews. And if we could get even one or two comments, that would be fantastic.

Thanks for reading!

OK Blevins of the Living Dread ... I've just suggested the site for a Webby in the Personal/Blog section.

Thanks! I think my readership is in the single digits, though.

By the way, Wayne has his own Twitter account, too.

I have a separate one for myself.

If you go to Unloosen's home page, you'll find the most recent three articles are reviews I've cowritten with Craig J. Clark. We had an ongoing project last year to review the horror anthology TV series Fear Itself. Unfortunately, the show was only mediocre and got canceled quickly. But the remaining, unaired episodes are now streaming for free on FEARnet. So lately we've been reviewing the ones we missed the first time around.
