MguyX at the bar.

Good stuff. You inspired me to get up and walk around my chair.

I see he availed himself of his constitutional right to bare arms.

Was that the real event, or just the trials?

MguyX given hard labour, suspended.

Whip, I'm the only person who appreciates that "bare arms" thing. When I say it, most people look at me with a blank stare, often masking mild annoyance (obviously, the anti-bare arms contingent).

That was the event, which was more for fun and to raise money to buy water-cooled vests for American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan (since our government apparently doesn't provide them). Teams of 4 competed, breaking up the following among members: 300 pullups, 400 pushups, 500 situps, 600 squats. If you exercise regularly, it's not so bad; otherwise, it's kinda painful. I think we finished 15th of 30 teams (couldn't stay for the results).

Be sure to check your heart rate lemmy to make sure you're getting full aerobic benefit from that chair circuit; you may have to repeat one or two times.

Kudos to you, and for such a great cause! I do well to pull myself out of the dumps each morning. ;)

My sister linked me to this site called My Life Is Average. People just write little anecdotes from their average lives. Surprisingly funny.

Then someone on this site mentioned something called Cleverbot which is a machine you can have a conversation with...

Here's a fun, free program that I've come back to again and again through the years, to amuse myself or to compose a ditty for one of my little videos: www.anvilstudio.com

It is free, but I recommend the affordable add-ons. As one who was trained (against my will because I wanted a pony, not a piano) to play the piano (badly), I find this program much more intuitive for composing tunes than those loopy type programs.

I used to think that the little ditties I composed were pretty bad. But today I went on a search for free music for video backgrounds and although there are artists who give their music away, much of it sounded pretty bad to me, and I realized that as bad as mine was, it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

I know very little of music theory and how to do everything up all prim and proper. I just fiddle around with anvil studio until something sounds right. My husband has musical skills and has written some fine symphonies with this thing.

If you have a child or grandchild, install this for them!
