Whilst we are having an in memoriam thread, let's give some thought to the more than 120 150 170 people who have died today in explosions in Baghdad alone.
No doubt George Bush would explain this by telling us that they too were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Any violence such as we've seen this week is horrific and senseless. It's incomprehensible to me what possesses people to believe that such wholesale slaughter will accomplish anything, further an agenda, or settle problems. Humanity is diminished each time this happens.
Fortunately, George Bush doesn't speak for all of us.
