| That's "scent". No one could ever call chocolate an "odor". |

| Sure, I wouldn't mind a bit, but perhaps after the kids get some school in - after two months of no school because of a strike here, I wouldn't want the kids to get off again for snow. |

'twas a delightful trip, good god the city is beautiful. My mother and sister were happy to see the planetary clock strike it's chimes and getting busy with it (it kind of reminded me of Trumpton for some reason!!) So thanks for the tip.
Prague Castle is pretty incredible with it's ten centuries of architectural development all under one roof.
The christmas fairs brought back some of the magic the Celtic Tiger has mauled over the last few years. Mulled wine and a shopping spree added to the enjooyment.
They railroaded me into going to the ballet, the stylish opera house where it was housed was magnificient in it gold gilted edged walls and champagne reception...you could almost imagine Mozart's ghost sitting beside you enjoying the sight of the co-ordinated fit young ballerinas.
Highly reccommended for a truly worthwhile trip.

Ah Prague. We did a long weekend there. We loved it - the clock, the old city area and castle. I was a touch disappointed in Kafka's house, however, but perhaps I was expecting something more surreal. Whatever.
We didn't see a ballet, but we got cheap tickets to see an opera (La Boheme), so I can concur on the opera house. It was a marvelous production, and we fully enjoyed ourselves.
Did you see any of the blacklight theatre shows? We did and it was wonderful!

He invents the game, appears from time to time, and he thinks he won.
