I read 'The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich' when I was 13. I was such a compulsive reader that I had invaded my older brother's room in search of material.

I read hardly at all anymore, except for information. If handed a novel, I skip to the ending immediately. I'm glad I did so much reading when younger, though.

Once upon a time, I was having a disagreement with what would later become my ex. I said "I know how this is all going to turn out..." He replied, "I bet you're one of those types that read the last pages of the book first."

I was.
