ok i know i'm biased to like my mates, but what a joy it was last nite 2 B in a packed venue constantly full of laughter without sacrificing any of the cleverly barbed political points. m.t.'s was a show in 2 halves: 1st the challenge of one of the stupider bits of legislation restrcting legitimate protest, and then a simultaneous funny & sobering, even frightening peek into the world of governments as arms traders, & their complicit supply of states they pretend to be against, such as sudan & zimbabwe. m.t. actally set up as an arms trader 2 gain access 2 arms fairs.
those who know m.t.'s methods know he only reports back the evidence he's documented, evidnece which can stand the scrutiny of the law & the press. that he does this in the form of stand-up is an achievement prob'ly not seen since lenny bruce at his comic best.
