Nice try, Tennessee.

I can see why drug dealers were perturbed. After all, if they are carrying a stamped document when arrested it's as good as saying "I'm a drug pusher", and if they're not they face a (bigger than normal?) tax bill. So the poor darlings are hit either way.

Perhaps they ought to try the system in use elsewhere, including here in the UK, whereby convicted drug dealers stand to have their fancy yachts and cars confiscated. I'm not sure how it works in practice, but it seems to satisfy the Human Rights Act.

Crime does not pay, but criminals often pay lawyers.
