Oh, duh -- these are sad days for you. There's a lot of wisdom in this thread, and I hope you'll take what you can and what feels right for you and your family. In a society that's constantly seeking easy answers, these are not easy problems.
There's really only one thing that over-rides all others and it's about you, not your troubled mom:
You must never, ever, ever feel guilty about your feelings towards her or whatever decisions you need to make about any aspect of this.
