| Watching these year-end specials it has come to my attention that a lot of people are getting pregnant when they are 16, getting DUIs, staying in wars they shouldn't, etc. So what better way to ring in the new year than to show cautionary tales of self-destruction? |

Although I hate to dig up old news, year-end reviews of self-destruction take one to celebrity train wrecks. If you have self destructive behavior, may I direct you to the place that accepts self destructive behavior from celebrities over and over and over again for 20+ years. (Sometimes from the same celebrity)

Few people hit the headlines here for self-destructive behaviour more often than our very own Amy Winehouse.
I think she's got a great voice and I love her Back to Black album (even better than Frank), but Amy has been overdoing ilicit powders and falling down water. She's also been photographed immediately after a passionate and rumbustious falling out with her other half, Blake Field-a-Single (or something like that).
I sincerely hope she gets through it. I sometimes think she finds singing, writing and performing too easy. She feels a need to get closer to the edge. I say: come round to my place, Amy, and enjoy something safe - like my son's cooking
