Folks, this is the 200th Avatar Contest, let's make it a BIG one! We haven't had 20 entrants since way back in #97 - Album Covers, hopefully we can at least equal that this time around.

So pleased to be able to retread my old stomping grounds for this auspicious occasion - thanks for the invite Ed.

I was going to use Annie Leibowitz's picture of Aykroyd and Belushi painted blue to commemorate my favourite film of all time, but that felt a bit cheap. So I went with someone getting a lumbar puncture. Yes indeed, This is Spinal Tap.

Hope all is well with everyone. The PhD is rattling ahead apace. Miss (most of) you all.

PS - it actually took me ten minutes to figure out how to edit my avatar - that's how long I've been gone. Crikey.

Thanks for the invite Cheese Ed, I couldn't resist. I know it's been a while since I was here, but 200 avatar contests, thats amazing.

Hi to everyone, it's good to see so many of you from when I was around are still posting original, clever, and funny reviews even thefoxboy has come up with a lot couple of good OK ones.

I'll leave you to laugh hysterically at my avatar entry, I must get back to my duties of saving the world, stopping war and ensuring all humans have a better life on my XBox 360.
