I am going to be in D.C. next week. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who lives there but I thought I put this up. I am going to be fairly busy, but drop me a pm with your number if you are there so that I can call you up late at night and whisper filthto see if we can arrange a meeting in which I can feel you up and stick my tongue in your ear.

I don't know anyone there, really, but George Bush called and asked if you can bring him some stuffed vine leaves.

(Don't bring them. Drop them off with me before you go!)

I think the cherry blossoms may be in bloom right now though you may be on the tail end - either way it is a dramatic bit of color.

There are so many great things to see in DC. I'm sure you have an itinerary, but if you have a quick 10-15 minutes to spare, there's a nifty statue that we discovered on a trip in 1984 that I always try to stop by when I've gone back. It's the Albert Einstein Memorial outside of the National Academy of Sciences on Constitution Ave. If you are planning to visit the Great Mall and the memorials and reflecting pool there, it's just across the street, on the side with the very impressive and sombering Vietnam Memorial. Plus you have to park anyway, so park outside of the NAS and you're already there! There is no admittance garbage, since the statue sits in a little grove just a few yards from the street. It's always fascinated me. Have a great trip!!

Oh, yeah - the curator of the Air & Space part is a guy named Nedell. I knew his parents.
