Clemenceau's nickname was "The Tiger" and Detroit's baseball team is the Tigers.

In the words of Tony the Tiger: You're Grrrrrrrrrrrrr-eat!

Well, just don't go around copying the Chinese and using them as aphrodisiacs!

The clown has got to be Ronald MacDonald, the eggs dish is a Bennett Omlette I think, named after Arnold Bennett. Arnold and Ronald are anagrams of each other, but I don't know what the rodent is - I thought it would be a hare, but that doesn't really help.

It's too late to attempt the others, I'll have a look tomorrow.

I'm afraid BB is correct ... look here.

And just for the record - Benedict [not Benadict] Arnold was not the inspiration for the delicious egg dish. There are, in fact, several theories for its origin, probably the most convincing being ufs bndictine, since it consisted of cod and potatoes mashed up with an egg on top smothered in hollandaise. Benedictine monks, it is thought, dreamt it up for Lent and other non-meat days.
