With everything happening all over the world (and the topper being the loss of the great Paul Newman, not to mention my home computer getting hit by a really bad virus) this coming year doesn't look all that good. But still, in the spirit of the Jewish holiday, here's wishing you all a happy and healthy Jewish New Year.

(And I voted early on all the contests I entered.)

My mom's birthday was this weekend and I bought her a used iMac G5 and also presented it with a jar of organic honey.

(Get it? Apple and honey?)

I had to read this a couple of times to work out that you weren't calling your Mom an "it".
