One version of the trailer is driving me crazy: "Anne Hathaway back to her Devil Wears Prada best". Hathaway is a really, really great and versatile actress (although admittedly I can't imagine that Valentine's Day is up to much). She's good in The Devil Wears Prada, but she's absolutely amazing in Brokeback Mountain (especially as she was so young at the time and it was right after Princess Diaries-type stuff) and Rachel Getting Married. I think that with some very good-looking actresses a lot of people don't actually notice that they can act, which is very unfair. |
