Thanks EM,
I glad someone liked my Charlottes Web review
I great man (SEAN) taught me that all votes received have rubber bands on them. So you can expect a visit from my voting stick soon.

As many in the fourum can tell you, I am not shy on giving votes

I'll be watching. The Charlotte's Web review is inspired. Really like the Send in Klowns reference, too. That song is nauseating!

EM :)

Ok, you have been voted on.....
I looked at your top 400 reviews and your lastest 100.
Heaps of deserving votes went in.

It will be interesting to see how many votes were cast for you in the time you weren't in the fourum, compared to how many votes you will get as a fourum member.

okay - go set me a challenge I can't live up to!

The formula doesn't seem to work. If I type in '{VR 617,,,,9/14/2004,,,}' I get the answer '2', which if I did it right means emily has received 2 votes since Sept 14 - now I know that's not right, 'cos I've given her more than 2 votes.

Yeh. I've gotten way more than that. Thanks, guys.

So welcome, WalRus

Edit: actually that was probably a little unfair - the reviews are good regardless of whether he's a newbie.

Thanks for the greeting!
Hope to keep up the level. Although as a newbie I sometimes get completely puzzled when my so-thought best reviews are declined. :)
This site is a challenging mind-teaser and a great chance to practice language skills. :)

Queenofcats and yelnats have the same review for the microscopic penis movie with the ridiculously long name, except one spells it 'teenie' and one 'teeny'. Yelnats is first. Both have quite a few votes:

Itsy bitsy teenie weenie

This doesn't count as a "correction" because the current title isn't actually "wrong".

But I'm lobbying for "Disco Godfather" to be changed to the alternate title "Avenging Disco Godfather" because I believe the film is more commonly referred to by this title. I know that every video copy I've ever seen says "Rudy Ray Moore is 'The Avenging Disco Godfather'"

Merely a suggestion.

These alternative titles do traumatise you, don't they, Downtown? Are you sure it's not that the title you mention is the American title? Presumably, you would generally see American videos. Having said that, Disco Godfather is the main title on the I.M.Db. Could it be that the title was altered for video?

Well in this case none of them are listed as "USA" or "UK" or anything else. Just an alternate.

You could be right. It just doesn't seem likely to me. Seems so naked without that "Avenging" in front. He's not just any old run-of-the-mill Disco Godfather, he's the one and only AVENGING Disco Godfather! Seriously though...any Brits want to chime in on this? What title are you familiar with? FWFR is the first time I've ever seen it without "Avenging".

The only info I can give you on this film is that Xenon Pictures appear to be the sole distributors and they have titled it Disco Godfather, as for the alternative titles there is no sign of them ever appearing on VHS or DVD. Maybe it was retitled for the DVD regardless of country.
