Posted - 11/29/2007 : 19:04:53 Sorry to be so late reading this. I wasn't really expecting to win (late entry and all). Thanks for all the votes! Boy, is this getting hard to choose new ideas. I'll try to get back as soon as possible. |

I'm so conditioned to click on the topmost entry for the avatar contest that I submitted this week's entry into next week's gallery. Anyone know how I can delete it? We used to be able to edit/delete our own, but I don't see that option in my browser anymore.
Premature entry deleted. |

Posted - 11/29/2007 : 05:20:55 Ten competitors and eight voters. Let's see what they've come up with.
Well, it's a tragic tale for some, but an upbeat ditty for others.
Three competitors are sharing Third prize with six points each:
3= Chocolate Lady with her edible guitar (3,2,1); 3= Sean with his strumming penguin (3,3); 3= MguyX with his cross-over musician (3,2,1).
Ahead by a nose on seven points is Koli with his depiction of Dolly (3,2,2).
But the runaway winner...
...by an impressive margin...
...having received no fewer than 12 points for her Dixie Chicks (3,3,2,2,1,1)
Yes, she's done it again...
 It's Stalean!
Come on up and take a bow, Stalean. Make an acceptance speech and reprise one of your favourite songs before choosing the theme for the next contest. |

Posted - 11/28/2007 : 21:02:01 9.00pm FWFR time and there are still three votes to come.
Counting starts soon...
... a one, two, three, four; Red-necked boyos at my door.
Round 'em up and send 'em in. |

Play the record backwards. Mrs T will come back, the dog will wake up, you'll find the truck, and then win a crate of beer from your local bar.
But the votes stay with me. Yee hah! |

Looks like they trying to clean up their act. |

When you're ready to vote, remember that I'm collecting 'n' counting again this week.
I'd like to say "Here's a link to my PM page", but I haven't figured out how to take you straight there (I can't seem to log off, so the 'message user' thingy remains invisible). Never mind, click on my name and you'll get there.
I have a cunning plan for solving this problem. You get the PM page for another user, then replace the ID number in the link with your own...
http://www.fwfr.com/message.asp?id=4758
E.g., that one's your link, if I replace 4758 with 3104 then it takes me to the "Message Sean" page.
So here's the Message Koli link. |
