Hey Gang!
Statistics show that in 2006, I had 1,448 reviews approved by MERPs . . . and I joined in May or so, so those were all done in about 6 months! In contrast, I submitted reviews all throughout 2007, and I have a grand total of 244 reviews approved.
Was everyone else's 2007 a "slow" year, or does it vary from person to person? |

It was a slow year for everyone, but I would also attribute it to benj and Lisa's world tour: he wasn't at the desk for most of the year, evidently tuning in occasionally via Internet cafes and such.
OK, I'll say it now: the MERPs absolutely failed to pull their additional weight during that lost year. Fie on them. [Sorry, whomever you are, but still...]

People are not attacking or taking it as an attack, most are just explaining why it's not a slow MERP year.

I had 2071 approvals in 2006 and 875 in 2007. I'd probably would have had 2000 in 2007 if it wasn't for the cap.
(I'm not complaining -- I said this before I don't mind the cap because it makes life easier for Benj and the MERPs.) |
